Zach LaVine scored 33 points for the Bulls, while Nikola Vucevic added another 23 points and 15 rebounds.
The Chicago team finished the game with 17 3-pointers and 33 assists, which is one short of their season record. They have won six out of their last eight games and sit in 10th place in the Eastern Conference with nine games to play.
Portland, on the other hand, were severely hampered by injury crises, with regular starters such as Damian Lillard, Jusuf Nurkic, Jerami Grant and Anfernee Simons missing the game. In their place stepped Ryan Arcidiacono, Matisse Thybulle, Trendon Watford, Drew Eubanks and Shaedon Sharpe.
Rookie Shaedon starred for the Blazers as he matched his career high with 24 points. The Portland team lost their seventh game out of their last eight matches and sit 13th in the Western Conference, miles away from a playoff place.
