The Canadian is among the top PGs that will go back and play in the NCAAB next season and is already a favorite for the WCC Player of the Year.
Nembhard averaged more than 12 points, almost 5 assists, and 4 rebounds per match, scoring 36% from the 3-point line this season. Ryan played from the 1st minute of every game in the 2 seasons of his college career.
His team was eliminated by national championship finalists San Diego State 57-56 a month ago in the Elite 8th after a contentious foul call.
“It wasn’t any one thing,” the Canadian said. “My teammates are great people, and we were well-coached. We reached a level no other Creighton team achieved. I’m very happy about that and grateful for how the season evolved. That’s all I want to say about that.”
He also had a chance to continue in Arizona, Alabama, or UCF.
