In second place is Argentine legend Lionel Messi, who plays for Inter Miami in the United States. Messi earned $135 million, with $60 million from his salary and an additional $75 million from off-field activities.

The top three is rounded off by Brazilian forward Neymar, who plays for Al-Hilal in Saudi Arabia. Neymar’s earnings in 2024 totaled $110 million, with $80 million from his salary and $30 million from off-field ventures.
Other notable names in the top 10 include Karim Benzema, who made $104 million playing for Al-Ittihad, and Kylian Mbappe, who secured $90 million after his recent move to Real Madrid. Manchester City’s star striker Erling Haaland comes next, earning $60 million, followed by Real Madrid’s Vinicius Junior with $55 million.
Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah ranks eighth with $53 million, while Senegalese forward Sadio Mane, Ronaldo’s teammate at Al-Nassr, took home $52 million. Rounding out the top 10 is Manchester City playmaker Kevin De Bruyne, who earned $39 million in total.
