The Detroit Red Wings added to their roster attackers Kailer Yamamoto and Klim Kostin from the Edmonton Oilers in a trade for future considerations, it was reported today.

Klim, a restricted free agent, doesn’t want to re-sign, while Kailer was headed for a buyout.
Yamamoto (24) notched 10 goals and earned 25 points in 58 matches for Edmonton in the last campaign. He also scored and had 4 points in 12 postseason matches before the Vegas Golden Knights eliminated the Canadian franchise in 6 matches during the 2nd round.
Kailer was on his final year of a 2-year, more than 6 million dollar contract he inked last summer and has a cap hit of 3.1 million dollars for the upcoming campaign.
Kostin (24) notched 11 goals and finished with 10 assists in 54 matches with the Oilers in the past season. He was coming off a 1-year, 750,000 dollars contract.
