Grigor Dimitrov showed a great tennis to eliminate the world No. 2 Carlos Alcaraz in Shanghai Masters R16 clash. The Bulgarian was set down, but managed to collect his game and won 5:7; 6:2; 6:4.
Dimitrov started the game pretty strong and got a huge advantage of 3-5, but went into a big crisis, giving Alcaraz the chance to make a turnaround and to win 4 games in a row to clinch the first set 7-5.
The Bulgarian put his head down again in the second part and showed great form again, this time building a solid lead and winning the set 6-2.
This sent the clash into a decisive third set where both player won their first service games, but Alcaraz was broken in the third game and afterwards Dimitrov got his 3-1 lead.

Alcaraz continued to play shaky and was winning his service games difficult. That led to 5-4 for Dimitrov and his serve. The Bulgarian was cool in the tense moments and closed the match 6:4.
