Novak Djokovic from Serbia eliminated Lorenzo Musetti from Italy in straight sets and advanced to the final at the Olympic Games in Paris where he will face Carlos Alcaraz on Sunday. The Serbian was eliminated 3 times at the ½ finals at the Olympics but now he will compete for the gold medal for the 1st time.
The 1st set was very competite as the only break came when Musetti was serving to force a tiebreak but that’s when Djokovic made the 1st break in the set as that was enough to win it.

The 2nd set started with 4 breaks in a row as both players lost their serves twice, but the bad news for Lorenzo was that he lost his serve 4 times, and Nole won the set 6-2 as the only 2 games that the Italian won in the set came after breaking Djokovic’ serve.
Alcaraz also won in straight sets against Auger-Aliassime earlier today and the 2 top-seeded players on singles in Paris will compete for the gold medal on Sunday.
