Novak Djokovic still believes that his experience of winning Wimbledon multiple times gives him the edge against his younger opponents.
Djokovic, 36, is aiming for his record-equaling 8th Wimbledon title, which would put him alongside legend Roger Federer, who also has 8.
The Serb faces Jannik Sinner in the first semi-final in his quest of reaching the final on Sunday.
“I don’t want to sound arrogant, but of course I would consider myself favourite,” said second seed Djokovic.
“Judging with the results I had in my career here, previous four occasions of Wimbledon that I won, I do consider myself favourite,” he added.
Should Djokovic succeed, he will clinch his 5th consecutive title at the All England Club, which would see him equal Margaret Court’s all-time record of 24 major titles.
