Djokovic with comfortable win vs. Carballes Baena in Paris

Nole won in straight sets to reach the next round of the French Open.

Novak Djokovic, world number 1, defeated world number 63, Roberto Carballes Baena, 3-0 sets and advanced to the 1/16 finals of the Roland-Garros.

The only competitive set was the 1st where the Spaniard converted 1 break opportunity but the Serbian broke his opponent’s serve twice to closed it 6-4.

Djokovic also lost a serve in the 2nd set, but this time, the world number 1 converted 3 break chances and won it 6-1. In the 3rd set, Nole didn’t give any break chances to Carballes Baena and, with 2 break points converted from 2 opportunities, won the 3rd set 6-2 and the match for only a little over 2 hours on the court.

Novak also won his 1st match at the French Open in straight sets against Pierre-Hugues Herbert and his 1st real test at the Grand Slam in Paris is expected to come next when he faces the winner of Gael Monfils and Lorenzo Musetti which play later today.
