RB Duke Johnson shared his retirement today after competing in 8 campaigns in the National Football League.
Picked in the 3rd round by the Cleveland Browns in 2015 out of the University of Miami, where Johnson became the school’s all-time leading rusher, he played for 4 organizations in the league. Duke last appeared in the NFL in 2022, when he played a match for the Bills.

“8 Years 4 franchises with 1 goal in mind, create a better life for my family,” Johnson shared on social media. “I never imagined being the all-time leading rusher of my favorite school or being part of the list of all-time footballers that played in the National Football League out of the place where I have been.”
Duke finishes his career with 5,135 total yards and 23 TDs for Cleveland, Houston, Miami, and Buffalo.
