Fulham have inked Emile Smith Rowe from Arsenal in a transfer worth almost 44 million dollars, a transfer sum which makes him the most expensive signing in the Cottagers’ history.

Smith-Rowe (24) becomes the team’s 2nd permanent transfer in the current window as they look to reinvest the money made from João Palhinha’s transfer to Bayern Munich after Ryan Sessegnon rejoined the team on a free transfer in the past month.
“I’m finally here, so I looking forward to the new adventure — it’s a good moment,” the former Arsenal player revealed.
Smith Rowe made his debut for the Gunners in the UEL vs. Vorskla Poltava in September 2018 after coming through the Arsenal’s academy, establishing himself in the 1st team in 2020 after being loaned twice before that – to Huddersfield and RB Leipzig.
The attacking midfielder played 115 matches for Arsenal, netting 18 goals and giving 13 assists.
From Hale End to the first team. 55, 32, and then our number 10.
Once a Gunner, always a Gunner.
