The Colts' quarterback has been selected against his former team
The Indianapolis Colts have announced their team for the upcoming clash against the Jacksonville Jaguars and Gardner Minshew features in the starting line-up.
The 27-year-old is a familiar face to the opponent as he began his NFL career at the Jaguars, before being traded to the Eagles in 2021.
Minshew had an impressive debut against the Baltimore Ravens on September 24, coming in as Anthony Richardson’s replacement, who was sidelined due to concussion.
Colts’ head-coach Shane Steichen will be hoping his new signing will have a similar effect against his old club.
Indianapolis acquired Minshew back in March on a one-year contract, worth $3.5m, that could go up to $5.5m with incentives
