Jamal Musiala, Bayern Munich’s rising star, has shared his ambition to become the best footballer in the world, looking up to icons like Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. In an interview with RedaktionsNetzwerk Deutschland, Musiala said, “I don’t want to put too much pressure on myself, but I hope to have the chance to win the Ballon d’Or one day.”
The young attacking midfielder is considered one of Germany’s most promising talents and a future global star. Bayern Munich is keen to retain him long-term, with talks underway to extend his current contract, which runs until 2026. Musiala hinted that more clarity might come during the winter, saying, “I think we’ll know more over the winter break.”
Musiala emphasized the importance of remaining fit and focused as he considers his options, adding, “I’m looking to stay fit and perform well and will therefore take time to reflect around the end of the year.”
Legendary German footballer Lothar Matthäus praised Musiala’s performances, attributing part of his success to the robust support he receives, including from his family.
