Clean strike from Brazilian Danilo gave Max Allegri men the early lead in the first half.
The away side could have had a 2-0 advantage at half-time, but a missed penalty kick from Dusan Vlahovic kept Empoli in the game.
When the second half started the hosts immediately put Juventus under pressure, but failed to create any meaningful chances.
In the end Federico Chiesa slotted the ball home in the 82nd minute and put the game beyond Empoli.
Victory keeps Juve in contention after three round with 7 points out of possible 9 and maintains their solid start of the new campaign. As things stand, Allegri’s men trail only Inter and AC Milan, who sit atop of the table with the maximum 9 points.
