Kampf signs 4-year, $9.6M extension with Maple Leafs

The Toronto Maple Leafs forward David Kampf inked a 4-year, 9.6 million dollar contract extension, the Canadian NHL franchise shared today.

Toronto also signed the restricted free agent forward Pontus Holmberg on a 2-season, 1.6 million dollars extension.

Kampf played the past campaign with Toronto as he notched 7 goals and earned 27 points in 82 matches.

David also had 3 assists in 11 postseason matches before the Maple Leafs were defeated by the Florida Panthers in 5 matches during the 2^nd round.

Kampf has 35 goals in his NHL career and earned 111 points in 399 matches as he also played for Chicago Blackhawks.

The forward is coming off a 2-year, 3 million dollar contract he inked with Toronto in the summer of 2021.
