Nick Kyrgios will not be part of the upcoming French Open because of a foot injury that he sustained at his home in Canberra after a very unfortunate event. The Australian media reported that a thief intimidated his mother with a gun and stole his automobile.

Nick hurriedly cut his foot to help his mother and chase the burglar. The police later arrested the stealer as the tennis player helped find his car thanks to an app.
“We needed to be at a point where Kyrgios could comfortably participate in 5 sets. But, unfortunately, right when he was almost ready to play, the accident with the thief happened,” the player-manager said.
The Australian tennis player hasn’t played since October, as he missed the Australian Open at the beginning of the year because of surgery.
