Los Angeles wrap up their road trip 6-1

Kawhi Leonard showcased a stellar performance by scoring 36 points, including an impressive 11-point contribution in the fourth quarter, as the Los Angeles Clippers concluded their extended road trip with a triumphant 149-144 victory over the Atlanta Hawks on Monday night.

James Harden added 30 points and 10 assists to the Clippers’ winning effort, while Paul George chipped in with 18 points. Despite the formidable performance by the Clippers, Trae Young, the Eastern Conference player of the week, managed to score 25 points, and De’Andre Hunter matched a season-high with 27 points coming off the bench for the Hawks, who had previously secured four consecutive victories.

The Clippers wrapped up their 13-day road trip with an impressive 6-1 record and have been on a remarkable run since November 30, boasting a 26-5 record. This victory followed their successful outing in Miami on Sunday, the first leg of a back-to-back set.

Hawks’ center Clint Capela, a regular starter with 47 games under his belt, was sidelined due to a left adductor strain, and his condition will be re-evaluated in seven to 10 days. Additionally, Clippers’ starting center Ivica Zubac was absent from the game after being listed as questionable due to a right calf strain.
