The home side was the much more active team, as they pressed high and created more chances in the first half. However, Stefano
Pioli’s team was severely punished when Malik Thiaw was sent off for a late challenge on Moise Kean, which saw the San Siro team reduced to 10 men.
Juve quickly took the initiative, but were unable to break the deadlock, before Locatelli’s fortunate shot found the back of the net.
Max Allegri men were able to close out the match despite tempers flying high with the visitors receiving 4 yellow cards in the space of 20 minutes.
The victory closes the gap at the front as the top 3 are separated by only 2 points and it is all to play for in Italy.
