However, Mavs owner Cuban said that he will file protest of Kevon Looney’s basket in the 3rd quarter after a timeout. Dallas thought they had the ball, which Mark considers the referee’s mistake.
The owner of the Mavericks said on Twitter that officials told him that Dallas had possession, resulting in a timeout.
Mark Cuban labeled it the “worst officiating non-call mistake possibly in the history of the NBA.”

The team needs to file the protest within 48 hours. Then the commissioner, Adam Silver, will make the final decision after collecting evidence from both teams.
