Spanish tennis legend Rafael Nadal published a tweet, saying he appreciates the ‘vote of confidence’ from the Australian Open organizers after the Melbourne director Craig Tiley said on Wednesday he expects Rafa to make his return in Australia.
Nadal underwent a hip flexor surgery at the beginning of 2023 and was expected to be out of play for five to six months, but his rehabilitation takes longer than usual.
I appreciate the vote of confidence from the Australian Open… I am practising every day and working hard to come back asap 💪🏻😉
