Germany manager Julian Nagelsmann has inked an extension to remain in his position past the home Euro in the summer, as the rumors that he will replace Thomas Tuchel at Bayern Munich are no longer valid.

Some of the biggest head coaching positions in Europa are available after the end of the season, with Bayern, Liverpool, and Barcelona looking for a new boss.
However, Julian made it clear that he won’t coach a club team by signing a deal extension that will secure his current job until after the 2026 World Cup in the U.S., Canada and Mexico, the German football governing body shared today.
The media in the country wrote that Julian could return as Bayern Munich’s manager after Tuchel leaves at the end of the campaign, but that won’t be the case. The German head coach was replaced by Tuchel after Nagelsmann was fired by the Munich giants almost a year ago.
Julian admitted that signing an extension with Germany was a decision of the heart.
