NBA office is believed to be pursuing an understanding of whether the Beard was portending a 2023-24 holdout in violation of the league’s collective bargaining agreement or had talked about past deal discussions with the franchise.
James admitted privately that he spoke publically about Morey and called him a “liar” because the Philadelphia 76ers president ended trade discussions with the other franchises and shared that Harden will remain a 76ers player for the upcoming season.
Neither the franchise nor the player would violate any NBA guidelines if that is what the investigation found out.
76ers told James that they don’t found a suitable exchange with his 1st choice destination Los Angeles Clippers and that they want him back with the organization at the beginning of their training camp next month.
