Three European players got enlisted in the Basketball Hall of Fame – Dirk Nowitzki, Tony Parker, and Pau Gasol.
During the event, German flags were seen when the ex-Dallas Mavericks superstar walked the red carpet into Symphony Hall for the event.
The support for the ex-San Antonio Spurs superstar Parker was also enormous; even the guard joked that there are many French people in town, and that’s why this is happening.

Gasol also called his national team “mi familia” before getting together with the others, as some described it as the best class to join the Hall of Fame altogether.
Pau also joked and thanked the Europeans who found America, giving him the chance to play basketball nowadays.
Dirk was the 1st European-born basketballer to triumph with the NBA MVP in 2007. Parker’s NBA Finals MVP trophy in the same year was the 1st for European, while Gasol was the league’s 1st international ROY.
