Edmonton Oilers were triumphant against Seattle Kraken 6-4 on Saturday night.
Evander Kane scored his 2nd hat-trick of the season, 6th overall in his career. He opened the scoring for the Oilers less than two minutes into the game, and scored his second just 43 second into the second period. The third one came with 9:40 remaining right after the ending of Seattle power play.
Conor McDavid had a goal and and two assists, taking his mark to 134 points for the season, the seventh-highest in the NHL for the last 30 years. He scored his 58th goal of the season on power play with 3:50 remaining.
Zach Human and Kailer Yamamoto were the other two, who found their names on the scoresheet. Goaltender Stuart Skinner made 33 saves.
For Seattle the goals came from Jaden Schwartz, Jordan Eberle, Oliver Bjorkstrand and Eeli Tolvanen. Goaltender Philip Grubauer made seven saves, but had to be substituted due to illnes with 13:30. Martin Jones came on to his place and made 10 saves.
This was Kraken’s 6th home game defeat in their last 7 outings.
