Song Yadong defeats Ricky Simon with TKO

Song Yadong won tonight’s main event at UFC Fight Night in Vegas against Ricky Simon.

Song dominated the whole fight versus Ricky and won after a technical knockout in the 5^th round in that bantamweight matchup. Yadong destroyed his opponent in the final round, and after unanswered punches, referee Herb Dean stopped the fight.

That was Song’s 9^th victory in the UFC. In the post-fight interview, Yadong said that he wants to fight with a top 5 warrior, as the options include Sean O’Malley and Marlon Vera.

The native Chinese fighter had ended his 6^th battle in the UFC with a finish.
