The MLB franchise from Tampa Bay is expected to announce the contracts today officially.
Terms of the new deals are not available yet, but the team will employ Cash and Neander both through the organization’s move to a new venue in 2028.
Kevin (46) is beginning his 10th campaign with Tampa Bay, making him the longest-tenured head coach in the organization’s history. The ex-major league catcher is a 2-time Head Coach of the Year with a record of 739-617.
The team from Florida made 5 straight playoff appearances –the most impressive 1 was in 2020 when they played in the World Series.
Cash has the 4th winning percentage among active head coaches behind only Roberts, Boone, and Snitker.
