Erik ten Hag has taken full responsibility for Manchester United’s shocking 3-0 home defeat to minnows Bournemouth.
The Red Devils were completely outplayed at their home ground and recorded their 7th League loss this campaign.
“You’ve got to be at your best in every game, starting with focus.” ten Hag said.
“When you start like we did, you get killed.”
“They are good opponents but we have to do better. The way we conceded, that can’t happen. You can’t switch off. I’ve got to take responsibility for it”
United supporters could be heard booing their own players at the full-time whistle as they voiced their frustration.
With key home game against Bayern Munich in the Champions League and a tough visit at Anfield next week, United are in all sorts of bother as pressure mounts on ten Hag.
