Free agent safety Jamal Adams has agreed to terms on a contract with the Tennessee Titans. The team did not disclose the terms, but multiple media outlets reported that it is a one-year deal.
Adams, 28, will be reuniting with Titans defensive coordinator Dennard Wilson, who was his defensive backs coach during his Pro Bowl seasons in 2018 and 2019 with the New York Jets. Adams, who also made the Pro Bowl in 2020 with the Seattle Seahawks, is expected to compete with Amani Hooker and Elijah Molden for a starting safety position in Tennessee.

Last season, Adams was limited to just nine starts due to a concussion, recording 48 tackles. Over his career, the 2017 first-round pick (sixth overall) has tallied 494 tackles, 21.5 sacks, seven forced fumbles, and four interceptions in 80 games (all starts) with the Jets (2017-19) and Seahawks (2020-23).
