Lewis Hamilton's car from 2013 will also be sold in auction ahead of the Las Vegas Grand Prix

Tom Brady’s jersey from his final NFL game will be auctioned off at next month’s inaugural Las Vegas Formula 1 Grand Prix. The predictions are that it could fetch up to $2.5 million, making it the most expensive jersey ever sold at auction in American football history.

Brady, considered the greatest quarterback ever, ended his storied career in February of this year after the Tampa Bay Buccaneers lost to the Dallas Cowboys in the NFL playoffs.

The current record is held by Joe Montana’s Super Bowl XIX and Super Bowl XXIII jersey, which sold for $1.2 million earlier this year.

In addition to Brady’s jersey, Lewis Hamilton’s car, the 2013 Mercedes-Benz F1 W04 in which he took his first Formula 1 win for the team, will be up for auction. Hamilton’s car is valued at between $10 million and $15 million.
