Tottenham Hotspur emerged victorious in their clash against Bournemouth 2-0 to continue their impressive run under new manager Ange Postecoglou on Saturday.
James Maddison shone for the London team as he opened the scoring early on in the 17th minute, finishing off a great team effort, involving Yves Bissouma and Pape Sarr.

Spurs were the dominant throughout the entire first half, but couldn’t find a second goal as Brazilian striker Richarlison endured yet another frustrating afternoon, wasting a handful of clear chances.
The hosts made a strong start to the second half and nearly found an equaliser as Antoine Semenyo’s curling effort went inches wide of the top corner.
However, Postecocglou’s men put the game to bed in the 63rd minute, when Dejan Kulusevski picked up a cut-back pass from an excellent one-two between Destiny Udogie and Heung-min Son and slotted the ball into the back of the net for 2-0.
Spurs now have 7 points after possible 9 and are sitting pretty as temporary league leaders, while Bournemouth still await their first win of the season.
