“There’s no change at the moment,” Van Dijk stated following Liverpool’s 4-1 friendly victory over Sevilla at Anfield, where goals from Luis Diaz, Diogo Jota, and young talent Trey Nyoni secured the win.
The Dutch defender also expressed confidence in the club’s management as they prepare for the upcoming season. “I’m confident. Obviously, I think we need to bring in new signings to cope with the long and exhausting season, but I believe the management is working on that. I’m fully confident and trust the club that they will do the right thing for us and assemble the best possible squad to compete in every competition,” Van Dijk added.
