Raphael Varane thinks the Red Devils must believe they can get closer to Manchester City.

Erik ten Hag’s club hasn’t won the Premier League in the last 10 seasons, but the defender shared that everything begins in the player’s head if they want to catch City and top them.

“We must believe,” the French international defender shared on the club’s website.

“The difference between a good and a top club is in the head. It’s a new campaign, and anything can happen. Catching the Sky Blues will be tough, but we will do our best.”

He added that triumphing with the Premier League is very hard as the best teams in the world are playing there, and the competition each season improves.
