Red Bull’s Max Verstappen won the Canadian Grand Prix, which featured fluctuating wet-dry conditions and culminated in a five-car battle for the lead over the final 10 laps.
Verstappen skillfully managed a restart following a safety car period with 11 laps remaining and quickly establishing a decisive lead. Meanwhile, McLaren’s Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri engaged in a fierce contest with Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton and George Russell behind him.
Verstappen pulled away by nearly two seconds in just one lap, maintaining control of the race until the end. Norris, who had led the race twice earlier due to the changing weather conditions, lost his advantage each time by pitting a lap later than Verstappen. In the final laps, Norris was unable to challenge the reigning world champion and had to settle for second place.

Russell managed to overtake Hamilton with three laps remaining to secure the final podium position. Despite this, he may be reflecting on a couple of key errors during the race, which he started from his first pole position in nearly two years. Hamilton finished in fourth place, ahead of Piastri, with Aston Martin’s Fernando Alonso taking sixth.
