New York Yankees rallied for a 6-3 victory Monday night over the Baltimore Orioles in the first game of a four-match series between both AL East playoff contenders.
Harrison Bader hit a tiebreaking three-run homer in the eighth inning to push his team towards the win.
Anthony Volpe scored the tying run in the seventh on a wild pitch by All-Star reliever Yennier Cano (1-1) before the Yankees completed the comeback. Giancarlo Stanton opened the eighth with a hard single off Cano, and Anthony Rizzo added a single against Danny Coulombe.
