Vegas now have 2-1 lead in the series over Jets
Michael Amadio was essential for Golden Knights, scoring in the second period of over time to get the 5-4 victory over the Winnipeg Jets on Saturday.
He scored at 3:40 of the second overtime and helped his team to go ahead with 2-1 lead in the first-round series.
The winning goal was a little bit a fluke after Dylan Samberg’s clearing attempt for Winnipeg from the back boards, deflected off Vegas forward Ivan Barbashev’s skate to Amadio for a one-timer that went into the top right corner — going between goalie Connor Hellebuyck’s head and glove.
