Carlo Ancelotti defended Los Blancos’ style of play of their victory after penalties against Manchester City on Wednesday and shared he hasn’t met “a single supporter” who was unsatisfied with the team’s reaching the ½ finals in the UCL.
Real Madrid eliminated the Sky Blues on shootout a few days ago after 3-3 in the 1st leg, and 1-1 in the 2nd leg after 120 minutes but the Premier League team dominated much of the match at Etihad.
Los Blancos will play against Bayern Munich in the ½ finals but 1st must face Barcelona tomorrow in La Liga.
“Criticism doesn’t wonder me. Each fan can have their opinion,” Real Madrid’s head coach shared with the media today.
“You have to perform at the highest level and without the ball. There are some matches where you have the ball less than normal. Real played great in the regular time. I haven’t found a single unhappy supporter of our team yet. Maybe they’ll show in the upcoming days!”
