Rayo Vallecano and Barcelona finished at a 1-1 draw their 14th round La Liga clash. The Catalans continue to play very hesitantly this season and the hosts in today’s game took advantage of it.
In the 39th minute, Rayo Vallecano took the lead. Unai López crossed a good free kick and the ball was cleared twice before returning back to López. He decided to shoot from distance and scored a wonder goal into Peña’s net.
In the 67th minute, the away side appealed for a penalty. Joao Felix burst into the penalty area, and Isi Palasón pushed the attacker with his hands. The Portuguese fell on the grass, but the referee did not call a penalty kick.

Eight minutes before the end, Robert Lewandowski saved Barcelona’s point. Balde burst on the left side and sent a through ball to the Pole, but Florian Lejeune beat him and scored an own goal. The attack was reviewed by VAR, but the goal was allowed.
