Bayern gets the job done with 3-1 over Galatasaray

Bayern Munich won 3-1 against Galatasaray in their away game in round 3 of the Champions League group stage. The German champions are three out of three so far and are already looking optimistic for the round of 16.

Galatasaray started the clash more actively and organized some good attacks in the opening minutes of the match, but did not manage to score.

However, Bayern struck first. Leroy Sane broke well into the penalty area and found Kingsley Coman on the right, the Frenchman hit the ball to the far right corner and sent it into the net. In the 24th minute, Lucas Torreira received the ball on the edge of the penalty area, beat Kim Min-Jae and found space to strike, but it was very inaccurate.

Four minutes later, Joshua Kimmich and Kim Min-Jae lunged into the feet of Mauro Icardi, bringing him down and a penalty was awarded for the home side. Behind the ball was Icardi and in the 30th minute he equalized with a cheeky lob from the spot.

In the 74th minute Bayern Munich got their lead back. Mazraoui found Jamal Musiala in the penalty area, he passed the ball to Harry Kane, who shot, the ball, which deflected off the body of Sasha Boye, but returned to Kane’s feet, who this time made no mistake.

Bayern secured the win in the 79th minute. Harry Kane received the ball in the penalty area, then with a nice pass he found Jamal Musiala, and he sent the ball into Muslera’s goal from close range for 1-3.
