Boston Celtics player Kristaps Porzingis will be sidelined for today’s in-season tournament ¼ final vs. the Indiana Pacers as the center continues to recover from a left calf strain.
#NEBHInjuryReport for tomorrow at Indiana:
Kristaps Porzingis (left calf strain) – OUT
— Boston Celtics (@celtics) December 3, 2023
The Boston star sustained the problem on November 24th in a defeat against the Orlando Magic and has missed his organization’s last 3 matches.
Manager Joe Mazzulla shared last weekend that the ex-All-Star would be reevaluated after 7 days.
Porzingis has been playing solid in his debut campaign with Boston, averaging almost 19 points on over 50% shooting from the field.
For Indiana, the franchise’s star Tyrese Haliburton missed Saturday’s victory against the Miami HeatBoston Celtics because of an illness and a bone bruise in his knee. He is doubtful for the upcoming ¼ final with a knee problem. Pacers attacker Jalen Smith will miss the game against the Celtics as he has left knee and heel problems.
