Incoming USC freshman Bronny James suffered a cardiac arrest on the court on Monday and was taken to the hospital, but now he is in stable condition.
He is the 18-year-old son of LA Lakers and NBA superstar LeBron James.

“Medical staff treated Bronny immediately and took him to the hospital,” his family shared. “James is now in stable condition and no longer in ICU. We want respect and privacy for the James family, and we will update the media when we know more. LeBron and Savannah wish to publicly send their deepest thanks and appreciation to the USC medical and athletic staff for their phenomenal work and dedication to keep all of the players safe.”
Bronny was a 4-star recruit out of Sierra Canyon High School. The 18-year-old athlete was selected as a McDonald’s All-American in the current year.
