Cleveland Browns manager Kevin Stefanski ruled out TE David Njoku for the weekend’s match vs. the Las Vegas Raiders.
The tight end returned to training yesterday for the 1st time since sustaining an ankle problem in the campaign opener, but the Browns head coach revealed Njoku will not practice today and will miss his 3rd consecutive match.
Kevin also shared that starting offensive tackles Jedrick Wills Jr. and Jack Conklin will also be sidelined for the upcoming game. Wills injured a knee vs. the Giants, his 1st match back from his campaign-ending knee problem last year. Conklin has not appeared in a match this campaign as he returns from a severe knee problem he sustained in the opening week of 2023. Jack sustained a hamstring problem in the past week that the head coach claimed was a “minor setback” but would not keep him out for several weeks.
RB Pierre Strong Jr., who sustained a hamstring problem in Week 2, will also miss the match against Las Vegas on Sunday.
