Chelsea have accepted a bid worth almost 43 million dollars before add-ons from Atlético Madrid for Conor Gallagher after the player rejected a new deal offer to remain at the West London club.
The 24-year-old is yet to agree personal terms with Atletico and will decide his future in the upcoming days as talks continue.

Conor has 1 year left on his contract with Chelsea and the Premier League team don’t want to lose him on a free transfer when his deal expires after the end of the upcoming campaign, as that happened with both Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rüdiger, who joined Barcelona and Real Madrid respectively, 2 years ago.
The Blues offered the midfielder a 2-year contract with an option for a 3rd campaign and featured a significant pay rise.
Conor had declined in the past transfer to Aston Villa while Spurs are also interested in the midfielder in the past few months.
