Chelsea entered the race for Romeo Lavia and made 61 million dollars official bid but the Saints are expected to turned it down as they want 64 million dollars for the midfielder and nothing less.

The Blues are keen to bring to the Stamford Bridge 2 midfielders until the end of the summer transfer window as the other players that grabbed their attention are Brighton’s Moises Caicedo and Leeds’ Tyler Adams.
Romeo has 4 more seasons on his deal with the Saints but after the club ended up in the Championship, he wants to continue his career in the Premier League as Liverpool also want him and bidded for him, but their latest offer got rejected as Southampton will only sell him for 64 million dollars.
