The Chicago Fire shared today that they will provide compensation to supporters if Leo Messi can’t be on the pitch due to an injury when Inter Miami CF face them at Soldier Field on August 31st.
The Argentina captain sustained a ligament problem in his right ankle during the Copa América final vs. Columbia on earlier this month at Hard Rock Stadium, forcing him to be replaced in the 2nd half as it is still unknown when Lionel will be able to play.
In the case the Argentinian superstar cannot be on the pitch vs. Chicago, the club will give single-game buyers who purchase between now and the end of August 250 dollars off 2 or more new 2025 Chicago Fire season-ticket memberships or 100 dollars off 2 or more single game tickets for the 2025 clash vs. Inter Miami.
For supporters, who already bought tickets, the club will offer the chance to claim 2 complimentary tickets to the Fire’s 2024 Fan Appreciation Night for the October 19th game against Nashville SC.
To ensure a full stadium and to create the best possible experience for all in attendance at our 8/31 match, the Fire are offering the Fan-First Credit Guarantee.
Depending on your date of purchase, if Messi is unavailable on 8/31, fans will receive credit toward:
