Denver Broncos player Kareem Jackson shared he is flying to the Big Apple to meet with National Football League commissioner Roger Goodell today to get more information about his latest ban and how the NFL enforces its player safety rules.
“For me, I watch a lot of the same things happening around the NFL where players didn’t get anything for doing it — no flags, no fines, no bans,” the safety claimed in his 1st public appearance with the media since drawing his 2nd suspension of the campaign in the past week.”
The safety, who is in his 14th National Football League season, has been banned by the NFL for 6 matches this campaign, ejected from 2 others, and fined almost 90,000 dollars for 4 illegal hits.
That puts him in the 1st place in the NFL in fines and match checks lost. Jackson has missed 3 matches so far and will miss 3 more, costing him almost a million dollars in lost wages.
