Luka Doncic intends to play without interruption while the Dallas Mavericks still have a chance to reach the NBA playoffs.
Doncic has an injury in his left thigh and alongside Kyrie Irving are listed as questionable for the game against the Sacramento Kings.
“I will play. As long as there is a chance for the playoffs, I will be on the court,” he said to Reuters.
The Mavericks have lost seven of their last eight games, but still have a chance to make the NBA playoffs. They are a half-game behind the Oklahoma City Thunder, who also hold the series tiebreaker. That means Dallas is bound to win their games down the stretch.
“There’s a small chance and that’s our hope,” the Slovenian added after Mavericks practice on Tuesday.
