The Colts receiver cleared the protocol but didn’t recall being hit.

Indianapolis Colts player Michael Pittman Jr. doesn’t remember the illegal strike by Pittsburgh safety Damontae Kazee that knocked him out a few days ago.

“I honestly never saw him coming,” the receiver admitted today. “I was diving, caught it, and then immediately, I woke up, and people looked down at me. I was like, ‘Oh, s—, what is happening right now?”

The thing that happened was a vicious strike from Damontae, who lowered his head and hit the Colts player in the head as Kazee tried to catch a deep ball.

The positive news is that the Indianapolis receiver cleared the NFL protocol today. However, he is still listed as questionable for the weekend’s visit to the Atlanta Falcons because of a shoulder problem.

Kazee was ejected from the match and was banned without salary until the end of the regular campaign.
