Inter Miami manager Gerardo “Tata” Martino has revealed that Luis Suárez constantly suffers from an inflamed knee and has to train through pain “week-by-week” to be able to play for the team throughout the season.
The Uruguayan forward didn’t participate in the Major League Soccer All Star game as the club shared Luis was unable to travel due to his knee problem. Gerardo after that noted his participation in Inter Miami’s Leagues Cup opener vs. Puebla at Chase Stadium is uncertain before Suarez being on the pitch for 85 minutes in the 2-0 victory.
“Well, I take off Suarez before the end of the match because this situation where your knee can become inflamed is not something that has only just occurred,” Inter Miami boss shared after the match.
Martino added about Luis problems that they are days that the striker feels great but they are weeks that he suffers from the issue.
