Inter coach Simone Inzaghi will sign a new contract with the club after the end of the season, according to “Gazzetta dello Sport”. The 47-year-old coach has reached an agreement with Inter’s management and will extend his contract.
Inzaghi’s current contract runs until the summer of 2025, but he will renew it for another year. The new contract will include an option for a further extension of 12 months, until the end of the 2026/27 season. Simone Inzaghi has been at the helm of Inter since June 2021. During this period, he has won all possible trophies in Italy, and last season he led his team to the Champions League final, where they were defeated 0-1 by Manchester City.
There was interest in Inzaghi from Chelsea and Liverpool, but it looks like he will stay at San Siro.
