Italy’s national football team is set to play friendly matches against Venezuela and Ecuador in the United States on March 21 and 24, as announced by the federation.
The reigning European champions will face Venezuela, currently ranked 50th in the FIFA rankings, at DRV PNK Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Three days later, Luciano Spalletti’s team will take on Ecuador at the Red Bull Arena in New York. These matches mark Italy’s first encounters with the United States since 2005.

As Italy prepares to defend its championship title at the upcoming tournament in Germany this summer, the team finds itself in a group alongside Spain, Croatia, and Albania in the so called “Group of death” of the European tournament.
