James, whose base salary was $4.235 million in the current campaign, was set to be a free agent after this campaign. His $9.5 average annual salary will make him the 7^th-highest paid RB.

Already at 705 rushing yards, James, who turns 30 in May, is on pace for his 2^nd-consecutive 1,000-yard campaign – which also happens to be the only 2 of his 8 years as part of the NFL.

Conner recorded 4 hundred-yard matches in the current campaign and has 5 rushing TDs.
